Why Articl.net?

Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology are rapidly changing fields; 2010’s ‘best practice’ might not be applicable in 2016. As physicians, we need to find the best and most-recent articles as quickly as possible.  But if we search for some common terms like ‘major trials in stroke’ in search engines, only some results will be relevant to Radiology and most will be several years old.  We are too busy to sort through millions of search results, to find the most relevant and most recent article.

Imaging and Treatment vary by institution, and even by the physician!  Even simple procedures such as epidural injections are done in a variety of ways.  With so many different imaging and procedure techniques for the same disease, today’s Medical Professional needs easy access to rigorous research on the most cutting-edge methods.  Many journal articles and blogs reflect only the views of a single or few authors, but innovation comes from physicians all over the world.  In addition, we are documenting our work on many channels: Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and even posting conference presentations on YouTube!  Unfortunately, this content is unstructured, disorganized and difficult to find with search engines.

Articl.net is a curated collection of journal articles, blogs, videos and other content.  Thousands of the best informational resources have been added and categorized by practicing radiologist.  The collaborative features of the site are not available to the public; only Medical professionals may add content, make comments or ‘like’ articles. Articl.net seeks to harness the wisdom of the crowds, without all the noise of the YouTube comments section.

Our goal is to make articl.net your first choice for searching Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology topics on the web.  We have an extraordinary profession that allows us as individuals to have a significant impact on our patient’s lives.  Please join us at articl.net.
