Cincinnati Prehospital Stroke Severity Scale

Cincinnati Prehospital Stroke Severity Scale

CPSSS  ≥2 was 83% sensitive, 40% specific, positive likelihood ratio (PLR) of 1.4, and negative likelihood ratio (NLR) of 0.4 in predicting Large Vessel Occlusion (LVO).

CPSSS has high sensitivity and acceptable specificity in detecting the presence of severe stroke, moderate stroke, and large vessel occlusion among populations of patients with acute ischemic stroke.
